The Brunner Seed Corn Company is located in Pepin County, Wisconsin, and was founded in 1936 by Matt Brunner Sr.
The first Brunner seed corn produced was a 90-day hybrid.
At that time, all sales were done by going door to door. After the passing of Matt Brunner Sr. in 1949, Brunner Seed continued on under the direction of his sons until 1983.
In the spring of 1983, Brunner Seed Corn was purchased by Tony Weisenbeck.
